Title: Web Site Analyst Description: As a member of the Strategic Planning team, the Web Site Analyst is responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing Web site data. An expert in Google Analytics, he/she works with the Digital Metrics Analyst and Strategic Planner to analyze user behavior in order to optimize site design, content, campaigns, and sales. Attending was a last minute thing - what I noticed  here is that the Job Search Engines have not been stressed at all - in fact, both speakers suggested that you spend most of your time off of them and just focus on a personal strategy, a career management plan and finding a bridge job(s).

When people do go onto Job Search Engines like Careerbuilder and Monster - it was suggested to spend just a small amount of time, each day - which, I’m sure, isn’t what the job search engines had hoped for, as far as spending time, and therefore, monetizing visitors.

On the other hand, MediaBistro mentioned their job board is vibrant - but that large employers are largely staying away - meanwhile, other kinds of companies you never would have expected to show up on a job board are starting to appear.

It was suggested, as well, that once you see Business Development jobs being posted it will be a sign of job recovery.

Much more emphesis was put on defining a Positioning Statement, spending more time networking and finding people and events you don’t normally go to, and attending.
